When Should I Buy A House 2009

There are many general misconceptions about real estate by the general public. The first one is that real estate is some kind of gold mine. Irregardless of what the housing market is doing, real estate is not unto itself what makes money. Property prices generally stay about the same. If people do end up making money on the property usually hidden costs gobble up all of the rewards. For this a house is not that far away from buying a boat, or an RV. Essentially what people pay for is the commodity of a better life. There is never a wrong time to buy a property my friends. I am personally interested in how real estate can be used to spin a profit. There are infinite ways to make money with real estate. It is in that mind frame that the value is not derived from the property itself but rather what can be done from it.

Blog Advertising Effectiveness

Blogs are hard to monetize through advertising. Some bloggers do great with sponsors, ppc and affiliate opportunities while others struggle to get paid less and less. Many marketers claim the ability of a blog to monetize amounts to nothing more than hype. Whether this be true or not there are some things that bloggers can do to increase the effectiveness of their blog monetization strategies.

1. Place advertising in prime locations.

Above the fold, in the blog roll, underneath posts, in the content are all effective places for integrated contextual advertising campaigns. Simple placement increases ad revenue regardless of ad strategy or tools.

2. Increase ad targeted traffic.

Advertisers make it no secret that they will pay a lot of money for some key words and absolutely nothing for others. Research keywords to effectively leverage important search and social traffic.

3. Diversify your monetization strategy.

Ad rotators, periodically changing positions, types of advertising and even ad companies and advertisers has a lot of potential for making a blog even more money.

Some Conclusions:

Monetizing blogs is not easy but can be done. More than anything trial and error in testing ad channels is very important because ultimately generating an advertising revenue is directly correlated with leveraging relevant markets and using the right technologies to do so.

Why I Like Closed Social Networks

Slamming away to the drum of open social communities is a lot like blogging. Put up your profile, add a few pics, a video, dabble a bit and people show up time and time again. That is great. We all need eyes, ears, noses and mouths gathering on our sites. At the same time the most meaningful leveraging of social communities happens behind closed doors. It is often what we can not see is what makes certain marketers, bloggers and business folk especially tech savvy. As we all know marketers love email. These marketers daily add people as friends, follow people, etc of similar interests. After we get added there is always always always a welcome email. Not trying to sell anything just relate. The message may be like so I see you are interested in such and such, so am I, I love teaching it online like you or whatever. Connecting personally strikes a chord with most people. It is not a bad move to answer back and play the game. I call this the social media hand shake. Many people who bypass this thing cost themselves much time, much viral traffic, much comments, many friends, and many opportunities. We must never forget the personal level of the web. Many people I believe get hardened to the fact that many people online are very negative. I would say try aiming only for people with a lot of friends. They will tend to be friendlier and more open to getting to know a complete stranger. That is after all the way they become the cornerstones of social media. This is a lot like being at a dance club. If you just watch people dance and socialize it is meaningless. Put on your best clothes and go out there and strike up fun conversations. Be friends with everyone. From this the term is derived social butterfly. People who thrive in social situations even online tend to be happier people in life because we actually need interactions, personal contact and information exchange. These are basic needs that should be extended and revered because of their societal benefits as well.

The Single Most Important Thing All Bloggers Should Know

There is a lot of debate as to what the best blogging tip is. No body can really agree on what makes a good blog, or how to be successful blogging. Many get rich quick blogging videos are put out every day that seem to miss a few points that I will make.

1. Social media may be even more important than the blog itself.

What? Many bloggers do not get this. The fastest way of making their blog valuable is through social media. The best way to drive links is through social media. The best way to get traffic is through social media.

2. Doing well on google is not as hard as people think.

There is way too much google mythology going around. Many people loose not because of title tags, bad templates or redundant content but rather an inability to exploit certain key words in their niche. It all comes down to content targeting, keyword density, and relevance to economic forces. People are more likely to do better in SEO talking of the new Blackberry then they are of just a general article about smart phones. Many blogs just fail to drum up certain hot key words and blame everything else.

3. Do not get too angry at advertising. It may make you money.

Many bloggers have a thing against advertising. That is fine. But I would rather throw ads up top, update a blog once a year and make more money than people who put ads on the bottom and blog 20 times a day and see a few cents in the tip jar once a week. If the blog is a good read it does not matter how many ads are on it.

4. Pace yourself. It is easier to blog a few times a week then every day.

When I start a blog I may only post a few times a month. I have a thing against new sites. They draw less people and feel unspoiled. When the traffic surge comes and the blog goes viral that is when I recommend people start working hard. Just never buy into the whole none sense that you have to always blog. A landing page that takes an hour to make can out sell any blog on advertising. So people who work hard may be putting all of their nails in a bottomless can. Do not throw away your life because people say this is how it should be.

5. Do not waste your time and life reading every blog.

Blogs are great to read but do not just read them to read them. Spending time on the Internet is fatiguing so limit it to doing things like producing content rather than reading other blogs, chatting on social media, or checking you email 1000 times.

6. Do not accept the limitations that other bloggers and people put on you.

Success is actually very easy. Some of the laziest, most incompetent people run the most successful businesses on earth. Some of the worst musicians become the most coveted rock stars and rappers of all time. (while the best ones never make a dime) Just because some elite with the best themes and 10 successful social media sites tells you that you suck and will never be successful online is nonsense. Blogging is not any harder than anything. Many of the most important skills in blogging be it language, basic computer skills, and creativity are things that all people have inside. Millions if not billions of bloggers quit yearly because they feel they are not good enough. I must say that I have read many excellent blogs than never make it and I have read the best blogs online. The difference is really goals. The best bloggers say I want this. Maybe I can not do it today, but if I stick with blogging while carrying on my life I could go pro. Then the exponential blast hits their blog and they go famous. Like the world of acting for instance most people never make it. This is true. But also setting goals and achieving them is especially possible when people use baby steps. People must understand that they may not be the best blogger today, but if they stick with it a few years probably around 2 to 10 they will one day wake up and be an extremely important figure online. Without having the concrete goal that you will become the best blogger on earth, and the unwavering commitment to achieving that goal at all cost then you will probably never make it. Luck has little to do with anything.

You Have The Rights Always

This article may apply more to the American Real Estate Scene but take from it what you will. Foreclosure many times happens from the inability to meet some financial deadline with an organization or the government. Many times people going through this are pressured by people on the ground to do certain things. Namely to live down their debt. In reality no person has to do this. The law protects against this. So what does this mean for the Internet business people? What it means is that even though no one wants to go into debt it is never the less not as bad as it seems on paper or sounds. I am not asking people to take financial risks as I believe that the best advice would be not to take any true risk with finances but we all have many rights. A lot of people forget that.
